How Did We Create This St Patricks Day Photo?

Here’s how we achieved this St Patrick’s Day photo in our photography studio in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire.

1. Cut out the clover shape in some correx material.

2. Set up a light and add a green gel in front of it.

3. Attach the correx to a stand and place it in front of the light so that it projects the light through the clover shape onto a wall or infinity cove.

4. Make sure to black out your space or studio and turn off all house lights.

5. Play around with the distance between the light source and the cutout to get the desired effect you want.

If you like this idea, you can use the same concept but cut out a different shape and use different coloured gels. For example, you could cut out a heart shape and use a pink or red gel for a valentine’s shoot.
